You may remember the lovely Vaughan Williams and Ireland pieces the the Piattis played for us in October, and could be interested in their most recent CD which highlights these pieces along with two very interesting Irish quartets, one by Ina Boyle, a prolific and neglected Irish female composer, and the other by a pupil of Ireland, E J Moeran.  Both are heavily influenced by Irish folk music and are in the romantic and pastoral style of the time.
